The Western Regional Fisheries Board has produced many excellent angling maps and guides of the region to help the visiting and local angler, the expert or the beginner, to find and enjoy the splendid angling available.

From this week, July 23, 2003, there is a new, comprehensive and detailed guide to all the game fisheries in the Western Fisheries Region of Ireland. This 108-page production is the best and most comprehensive guide available, containing a mammoth amount of information on all trout and salmon fisheries, seasons, bye-laws, up-to-date fishing regulations and lots of hints on the best waters to fish at the various times of the season. The price from the Board's office is €10 plus P&P. It can also be purchased from most fishing tackle shops in the region

"A Detailed Angling Map & Guide to Game Fishing On Lough Corrib"
Angling Guide and Map of Lough Corrib, It is a new publication and is now available. Price €5. The map shows all the best drifts for trout and salmon fishing on the lough and has much information for the local and visiting angler.
